All ready for the debut of PlayStation VR2: the new viewer Sony for virtual reality will be available starting February 22, 2023, accompanied at the launch by several heavyweight titles such as Horizon Call of the Mountain e Resident Evil Village VR.
The device is technically advanced and with numerous features and options to interact with (here are five things to know absolutely about PlayStation VR2 in this regard). Among these there are also two particular methods: Cinema and Transparent View. What are they and how do they change the experience offered by PSVR2?
As for the Cinema mode, it allows for display on a large virtual screen the user interface, the system PS5, streaming apps, media, and games not built for VR. This type of content is displayed in format HDR 1920×1080 with a frame rate of 24/60Hz and 120Hz. Furthermore, when you set the Cinema mode, audio and images are reproduced only by the viewer, without any type of signal coming from the TV.
Switching instead to Transparent View mode, allows you to be able to see your surroundings while wearing the headset. To activate it (or deactivate it to return to normal display), press the key Function on the device or interact with the Quick Settings In the Control Center. Finally, keep in mind that the Transparent View is not perfect for making any type of recording.
