Co-op horror Ghost Watchers from the indie studio Renderise received a major update with many innovations and changes. Now the caretakers will be able to go to the House in the swamp, where paranormal activity has played out in earnest. Rumor has it that one of the most dangerous ghosts named Kuchisake Onna lives there. In order not to become her next victim, it is recommended to stock up on syringes with adrenaline (a new item), which, after use, increase the speed of movement.
The main part of the update is not innovation at all, but a change in the mechanics and behavior of ghosts. Here is what the authors listed:
Ghosts now hide in rooms. They need to be hunted down to get clues. Ghosts now have a special hunting stage during which they become invulnerable. You need to run away from them and hide. On the insane difficulty level, you can’t hide. Ghosts got a unique state for each age and mood. Insane difficulty got really insane. Now the usual EMP, thermometer and notepad do not work here. Instead, new evidence appears.
