Released yesterday, the post-apocalyptic thriller Atomic Heart from the developers from the Mundfish studio was warmly received by the public – including Steam users. The PC version of the game in Russia, Belarus and most of the CIS countries is available exclusively on the VK Play site, with which there were problems almost immediately after the release.
Such limitations in the distribution model did not appear to have hindered sales of Atomic Heart much. The shooter was able to become the leader in sales (in terms of revenue, but not sold copies) on Steam worldwide, beating even Hogwarts Legacy.
But with the peak online at the project of the Cypriot studio Mundfish, things are still not in the best way: 38,469 players at the peak and 20,772 at the moment. For comparison: the same Hogwarts Legacy online exceeds 870 thousand users, but the game was able to achieve its best performance on the weekend after the release.
