Waiting for the inevitable video analysis by Digital Foundry, the tech enthusiast John Linneman has already expressed an enthusiastic, albeit not definitive, opinion on Gran Turismo 7 con PlayStation VR2calling it an experience incredible.
With a comment on Twitter, the Digital Foundry journalist and video producer also spoke of one aspect in particular that amazed him, namely the glare of the headlights reflected in the rear-view mirror in night races, which is so bright that it resembles the real one.
“Okay, Gran Turismo 7 in VR is amazing. One small detail that caught my eye: the HDR glare of the headlights in the mirrors during night races. seen nothing like this in a game,” Linneman said.
Clearly for a complete picture of the graphic and technical qualities of Gran Turismo 7 with PlayStation VR2 we will have to wait for more in-depth analyzes, including that of Digital Foundry. In any case, Linneman seems satisfied for the moment, while noting that when playing in VR the limited reflections ruin the immersive experience and a bug that apparently causes application crashes if the game is installed on an additional M2 SSD (however present also in the previous version of the game before the PSVR2 update).
In the meantime, we refer you to all the details of the substantial 1.29 patch of Gran Turismo 7, which in addition to support for PlayStation VR2 also includes four new cars.
