After PC and Dreamcast (!), the heroine of the title now ventures into a successful 2D adventure on all current consoles: Izzy mainly explores four spacious, winding worlds in the best Metroidvania manner, enriched with a good pinch of hopping and beating. In doing so, she keeps finding new outfits that give her special abilities and are necessary in order to tread otherwise unreachable paths.
It’s not revolutionary in terms of play and orientation isn’t that easy here and there, but the clean controls fit and, above all, the chic animated look provides a lot of charm.
Fun and fast-paced 2D Metroidvania with slick cartoon looks, lots of scope and witty ideas.
