An almost 15-minute gameplay video from Japan shows how the VR experience of “Resident Evil Village” can work.
Just in time for the PlayStation VR2 release tomorrow, the VR version of the eighth “Resident Evil” offshoot will be released. To get in the mood for the particularly immersive horror experience, PlayStation Japan has uploaded a detailed gameplay video.
Japanese TV personality Hatsune Matsushima gets to play, while Capcom director Kazuhiro Takahara comments on the action.
Shooting Range and two other new features
A new feature is the shooting range, where the player can test different weapons. Close combat can also be trained by completing multiple time blocks. You can also manage your inventory here in peace.
After the Japanese has practiced a bit, it’s on to Dimitrescu Castle, where she meets the usual enemies. Here you can see, among other things, the newly introduced option of wielding two weapons at the same time. By the way, you can fend off enemy attacks by simply holding your arms protectively in front of you.
