February 22nd, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. by Sebastian Glanzer – The first beta test for Diablo 4 will start shortly and Diablo boss Rod Fergusson has revealed that hard-working testers can look forward to an additional reward for the release of the game in summer 2023. The Diablo community is now speculating what this goodie could be.
As early as March 17, those who pre-order Diablo 4 can jump into the beta of Blizzard’s action role-playing game. For everyone else who didn’t pre-order, the open beta will start on March 24, 2023. During this test phase, players can explore a zone extensively and level up characters up to level 25. Nothing else is available to try.
Testing the beta is also worthwhile for the later launch of Diablo 4 (buy now €79.99) on June 6, 2023. As Diablo boss Rod Ferguson revealed on Twitter, players will receive an additional reward for the launch of the game if they play a level 20 character in the beta. The Blizzard developer has not revealed what the reward will be.

In this way, the developers create an incentive for players and, of course, hope that this will result in more testers who will ultimately give useful feedback and maybe also test the capacities of the servers. Until then, the Diablo community on Reddit is speculating about what the surprise for beta testers could be. Reaching level 20 shouldn’t take too much time over the two test weekends.
