This is how mini chainsaws work
Like their big brothers, mini chainsaws have a bar and a rotating chain. The cutting links of the chain, which rotate at high speed, ensure that even larger branches can be removed almost effortlessly and boards can be sawn through without any problems. Mini chainsaws do not require much maintenance. They should only be oiled from time to time so that they do not overheat. If you want to enjoy your chain for as long as possible, you should also have it sharpened once a year or get your own sharpening device.
This is how pruning works
Tree pruning is often a closed book, especially for laypeople.
This is what experts advise: even if the wounds heal better when pruning trees in early summer, trees with stone, pome and berry fruit as well as spherical trees should be pruned from January to the beginning of March. The reason: At this time, the trees have plenty of reserve substances. The only condition for the cut is that the temperature should not be below minus five degrees Celsius. In the summer, at most, the crown of the trees is thinned a little.
Spring bloomers, on the other hand, should by no means be pruned in winter so as not to deprive them of their blooms. Garden shears should only be used after the flowering period and a mini chainsaw should be used for thicker branches.
When it comes to tree pruning, amateurs can do a lot wrong. It is not for nothing that there are numerous companies that have specialized in this activity. But for the ambitious hobby gardener this is not an option. After all, even a hobby chef doesn’t let anyone cook, but puts himself at the stove. A certain basic knowledge can not hurt with both passions. And so in many regions there are both cooking courses and seminars for the perfect tree cut. Many such courses are also available online, for example on YouTube.
