A leak has revealed the purported design of the Motorola Razr 2023. According to the published renders, Motorola’s next foldable smartphone is expected to have a much larger external display that takes up all the space of half the back. The Razr 2023 could thus have a serious argument to make against the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Find N2 Flip.
The larger external screen could launch and run apps The smartphone is expected to be released later this year
Well-known leaker Evan Blass has shared information that led to renders of the alleged Motorola Razr 2023 design. The first noticeable change one might notice is how the cover screen has been enlarged to cover almost the half of the back. It would be so big that it would even integrate the double photo module and the LED flash.

The screen also displays larger notification cards and more shortcut icons compared to the Motor Razr 2022 which was limited to a few widgets. Besides, the navigation keys are adjacent to the notifications menu, which could suggest that launching applications from the external screen would be possible.

Motorola Razr 2023: Launch date
Although the leaker has not confirmed if these are images of the Motorola Razr (2023), another source confirms that this is indeed Motorola’s next foldable smartphone. The Razr 2023 is reportedly codenamed “Juno” and could launch later this year.
Apart from Motorola, Samsung is also reportedly planning to offer a larger display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to a Chinese source, the Z Flip 5 will have a larger external display than the Razr (2022) or Find N2 Oppo Flip. We should therefore have a great battle in the market for foldable clamshell smartphones this year.
