Bethesda Softworks and developers Alpha Dog Games have announced Mighty DOOM, a “charmingly violent” mobile shooter set in the “DOOM animated universe” that has been known to exist for a couple of years.

In the story, a charge of Argent energy brings the Mini Slayer collectible plastic figure to life. The miniature hero has to fight off his pet rabbit Daisy from the hellish demons who kidnapped him.
Mighty DOOM players (Mini Executioner controlled with one touch) will have to fight their way through hordes of demons familiar from the main series, dodge their attacks, use finishing moves and defeat dangerous bosses.
They promise fast-paced battles with a top-down view, gameplay with roguelike elements, extensive customization options for the Mini Executioner, a system for upgrading equipment, legendary weapons and powerful bonus skills.
In the comments under the Mighty DOOM announcement trailer, they noted that the upcoming Bethesda mobile novelty is in many ways similar to the Archero released back in 2019 and the most recent Tomb Raider Reloaded.
Viewers greeted the video with mixed reviews (3 thousand likes for 2.2 thousand dislikes). Some of the players were happy with the project, while others were disappointed: “The continuation of the Executioner’s story, which we all have been waiting for,” Johnny Rankin taunts.
Mighty DOOM will be released on March 21 this year on iOS and Android (pre-registration has already started on both platforms). Those who play before April 20 will be given a set of Mini-Executioner.
