Building on the success of New World, Amazon’s videogame division ‘attempts an encore’ with a new MMO with action fantasy hues. The gaming team of the ecommerce giant has in fact partnered with NCSOFT to launch the GDR multiplayer Throne and Liberty.
Unlike what has been done (at least up to now) with New World, the agreement signed with NCSOFT will concern the publication of Throne and Liberty in Europe, North America and Japan on both PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/Scomplete with cross-play support guaranteed since launch (with all the benefits that we can easily guess in terms of server ‘population’).
For those approaching this title only now, we remind you that Throne and Liberty is an online role-playing game that brings fans of the genre into a medieval dimension that changes according to the wars between clans unleashed by feudal lords in constant search of territories to conquer.
Over the course of the adventure, players can unlock spells and mutations which allow your alter-ego to transform into animals to soar in flight, explore the depths of the sea and unleash devastating environmental effects such as solar eclipses or thunderstorms.
The new role-playing experience developed by NCSOFT (AION, Blade & Souls and Guild Wars) and Amazon Games (New World and Lost Ark) will be available in the coming months on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Did you know that Amazon will also publish the new Tomb Raider video game?
