With all the productions available on Netflix, it would be a shame to miss titles of undeniable quality.
Action à la française… In Belgium! This is what the Braqueurs series offers, season 2 of which has been available since February 17. A production whose positive opinions flourish on the networks and which sits at the first place in the ranking of Netflix series in France.
What is the Robbers series?
Based on the film of the same name which was released in 2015, the series Braqueurs (Ganglands in English), stages Medhi (Sami Bouajila), a robber who finds himself forced to protect his family from a powerful drug lord, taking his team with him. Particularly meticulous, he realizes each blow in a daring way, even if unexpected obstacles face him. This production has distinguished itself by the quality of its realization. The action scenes are perfectly choreographed and the images are neat. An ideal series for lovers of heist films and police series, allowing itself to explore relatively deep themes, such as loyalty, friendship, family, revenge and power. Without being a simple series of robberies, the characters are confronted with complex moral choices and must navigate in a world where the law of the strongest reigns. The success of Braqueurs is also due to its innovative casting which highlights many talented actors like Sami Bouajila (Omar killed me) as Medhi, Nabiha Akkari (Messiah) who embodies Sofia or the presence of the illustrious rapper Kaaris in the role of Salif.
A season 2 already available
Available for only a few days, the second season of Braqueurs rose very quickly to first place in the French Netflix ranking. While Liana, Tony and Medhi wanted to leave the Flat Country, unexpected news prevents them from doing so… the arrival of a new enemy. They will be forced to ally and work with former rivals. Composed of 6 episodes, this series has unanimity among fans. The returns were quick to appear on social networks, showing the enthusiasm of the spectators.
