It seems that new details on Final Fantasy 16 will appear as early as next week, at least there have been many hints of this. Two Italian reviewers have stated that the major game embargo will be lifted before the end of the month and hinted that this is for FF16 previews. Obviously, this information should not be taken as 100% certainty, but we will find out if this is true or not in the coming days.
Then Andy Robinson of major publication VGC tweeted that the FF16 preview embargo would be lifted next week, but deleted the tweet.
Youtuber Skill Up also mentioned in the latest podcast that he was in Japan to preview a game. Add to that the fact that series producer Naoki Yoshida promised some fresh news about Final Fantasy 16 the other day, and we already have an accurate picture of what is happening.
The latest piece of information about the game came in early December last year during The Game Awards 2022, where on this occasion the trailer for Vendetta was presented and the release date was announced.
