On February 28, during MWC 2023, Realme will globally present its new smartphone that brings the fastest fast charging on the market.
We have prepared a summary with all the rumors about the specifications and even the price at which the new Realme GT 3 can hit the market.
Design with premium notes
Let’s start with the design of the new Realme GT 3, which is very similar to the GT Neo 5 model, already available in the Chinese market. The rear panel has a square that houses and highlights the camera configuration present in this smartphone.
Then we have the transparent panel that shows the processor that powers the terminal and which is surrounded by a strip of LED lighting. These same small LEDs are RGB enabled and therefore able to emit 25 different colors.
This is one of those details that reminds us of a premium design, even though the brand is positioning it in the upper mid-range segment. It promises to conquer many technological hearts.
Expected specs on Realme GT 3
The brand has already confirmed that the model will arrive with support for fast charging of 240 watts and this will be the specification to highlight in the GT 3, as it will make it the fastest smartphone on the market to charge the battery.
Let’s go to numbers. This charging support will allow the terminal’s 4,600 mAh battery to go from 1% to 20% autonomy in just 80 seconds. Yes, seconds, not minutes. And this is a speed that no other terminal can provide.
Some rumors point to a GT 3 variant with a 5,000 mAh battery and support for fast charging limited to 150 watts. Although less fast, it still delivers a higher speed than the 120 watts offered by some rival brands.
Inside, the GT 3 houses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that is paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage capacity.
The optical configuration has the Sony IMX890 with 50 megapixels and optical image stabilization as the primary sensor, and it also has an ultra wide angle of eight megapixels and a macro sensor of two megapixels. The front camera provides 16 megapixels of resolution.
For the rest, the 6.74-inch OLED screen offers a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, a high refresh rate of 144 Hz and even PWM dimming of 2160 Hz.
Expected price for Realme GT 3
Since in the Chinese market the GT Neo 5 is available in three colors, it is expected that also in the global market it will be launched in black, white and purple options.
Meanwhile, some rumors are already advancing with the expected price for the two variants of the terminal. The version with a load of 150 watts and with the configuration of 8 GB of RAM plus 256 GB of storage is expected to have a cost of 370 dollars, that is, around 350 euros.
The variant with 240 watts charging in the version with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage will have a price of 470 dollars, approximately 440 euros.
But we will have to wait until February 28, next Tuesday, to confirm all this information and to find out from what day the model will be exposed in stores around the world.
