Cygames has announced that Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, the expanded version of the fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus, will feature a heroine named Anila. She is a versatile character who fights with polearms. Her first teaser, albeit without gameplay footage, is below.
The developers also talked about the new mechanics that will be available in Versus Rising. First of all, the Dash Attack will appear in the game. This is a quick attack performed while dashing towards the opponent, which has three variations: light, medium and heavy. Another mechanic called New Triple Attacks allows you to perform a combo by pressing the attack button three times in a row, but at the same time replacing the third strike with an attack from above or an attack from below. This technique allows you to break through the defense of the enemy.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising will release worldwide in 2023 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
