Following a recent announcement for PC (Steam), European indie game publisher Firenut Games and Madrid (Spain) indie game developer Yggdraseed Studios have announced that their pixel art adventure platformer Anyaroth The Queen’s Tyranny will be coming to Nintendo Switch at Nintendo Eshop in the first quarter of 2023.
Anyaroth: The Queen’s Tyranny will take players to the depths of Anyaroth, a planet besieged by the tyranny of its queen. Fight the rebels to free the Anya civilization from the Regime’s mind control system and uncover the secrets hidden deep within the planet.
Anyarot, a planet completely under the control of the Queen, dies. From the once dense forests and historic cities on its surface to deep within the planet’s core, the queen has weaved an intricate web of barracks, factories and mines to harness all of the planet’s resources as well as its population. Queen Mode is spreading and must be stopped.
As a fighter against the rebellion, you must take on the task of overthrowing the Regime and returning the planet to harmony. Using and combining an arsenal of weapons, special items and abilities, you must explore the game’s combat system to deal with your enemies in style. Use your Rebel connections to learn more about the mysterious world of Anyaroth, its history, and the causes of the Rebellion. Between fights, pay attention to your surroundings, as you may find artifacts containing key information or materials to craft long-lost weapons and unlock the secrets this strange planet hides.
