Director of the Donetsk football club “Shakhtar” Dario Srna commented on the situation at the expense of the Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrik at Chelsea:
“Mikhail is a graduate of our academy, a great person, a great player. Unfortunately, he is not in a good mood at Chelsea right now, but he has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next few years.
Mudrik is unhappy at Chelsea and we can’t blame him for that. The Retirees are in a mess right now, they haven’t won in over a month, and it’s unclear where their next win will come from.
Meanwhile, the club Mudrik could have gone to, Arsenal, is at the top of the Premier League. We can’t help but think that Mikhail might like to join the Gunners. In the end, it doesn’t matter, after the war, Shakhtar will buy Mudrik,” Srna said on Football Ramble.
On Sunday, February 26, London Chelsea lost in the next round of the English Championship to Tottenham. Mikhail Mudrik appeared only in the 83rd minute of the match.
Having lost in the north of London, the “pensioners” brought the series of matches in all tournaments without a win to six – 3 draws, 3 losses. On account of the Graham Potter team, only one victory in the last 11 fights. On January 15, they beat Crystal Palace at home (1:0), and before that they had not won in 4 meetings (1 draw, 3 defeats).
Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League with 31 points. The Blues will host Leeds on 4 March.
