Realme announced the Realme GT3 smartphone at MWC 2023, which is a global version of the GT Neo 5 smartphone launched in China earlier this month with support for 240W charging. The smartphone is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery, which takes 9 minutes 30 seconds to recharge. In just 80 seconds, 20% of the battery charge will be replenished, in 4 minutes – 50%.
According to the company, a 30-second charge of realme GT3 is enough for two hours of talk time, three hours of music listening, or 40 minutes of video streaming. To control the charging progress, a rectangular LED-indicator Pulse Interface System is used, located on the back of the device and changing color depending on the level of charge.
The indicator also signals the arrival of notifications and can be used when taking photos – when you start a 10-second countdown timer, it will change color from blue to white and then orange. It can also be customized by yourself with 25 colors, 2 rhythm types and 5 pulse modes.
When using 240W charging, the smartphone battery retains 80% of its original capacity after 1600 charge cycles, which is twice the industry standard. The safety of the technology is certified by Tüv Rheinland.
The specifications of realme GT3 are identical to GT Neo 5. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and support for 10-bit color depth. The screen provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, has on board up to 16 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
The rear camera configuration includes a 50MP main module with support for optical stabilization, an 8MP sensor with an ultra wide-angle lens (112°) and a 2MP macro sensor. The resolution of the selfie camera is 16 megapixels.
The realme GT3 smartphone will go on sale in May in black and white in the following configurations: 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB and 16 GB / 1 TB. The price of the realme GT3 model with 8/128 GB of memory is $650.
