According to Kohl, the time it takes to prepare and send the F-16 to Ukraine depends on two main factors: to transfer existing older models or to produce new fighters for transfer from scratch. In the first case, sending can take from one and a half to two years, in the second – from three to six years. What is the reason for such a large spread is not specified – apparently, with the hypothetical number of aircraft planned for transfer.
