Creating a remake of Resident Evil 4, Capcom designers tried to make the game more variable. In an interview with Game Informer, head of development for the remake, Yasuhiro Ampo, says that the remastered game can be played differently from the original.
In particular, players will get more opportunities for covert passage. The Resident Evil 4 remake will not push players to solve everything by brute force in the way that the original game did.

When thinking about how to update the game mechanics in Resident Evil 4 Remake, we found that we can give the player more options in terms of how to deal with certain things.
In modern games, even battles can be played in different ways. The player can act unnoticed, can run away – a lot of possibilities. If something doesn’t work out for you, you can always try something else.
For example, specifically for a more inconspicuous passage in the Resident Evil 4 remake, there is a weapon that allows you to kill opponents without revealing the location of the main character.
