A few weeks after the arrival of the third season of Ted Lasso, Apple TV+ recently shared a new trailer for the highly anticipated new installments of the series. In the video in question we see Ted, Roy and Beard intent on keeping the united AFC Richmond, almost certainly destined to finish last in the Premiere League. So it seems that this new season will show both the aspect more related to sport and the part more related to the private lives of the characters.
New episodes of the series will arrive exclusively on Apple TV+ starting next March 15, 2023 on a weekly basis. The appointment is therefore set for every Wednesday of the week for no less than twelve Wednesdays in a row. The new season will pick up from the highly acclaimed finale of the previous one, with a Ted Lasso who has proven capable of handling the situation in every way possible.
“Ted Lasso is a sports comedy that stars Jason Sudeikis as an American football coach who finds himself coaching an English soccer team. After her divorce, Rebecca Welton, played by Hannah Waddingham, new owner of AFC Richmond, a struggling club in the English league football, decides to take revenge on her ex-husband, who cheated on her several times, by hiring the worst manager that she could find to ruin the only thing he ever loved. Over time though, it will emerge that Ted is smarter than he may appear.”
Speaking of Ted Lasso, last September the character and his team were officially confirmed in FIFA 23. The character is in fact one of the selectable coaches in career mode. FIFA 23 players can get their player into AFC Richmond by playing alongside Dani Rojas and everyone else in the squad.
