This week, Realme made news for globally launching its GT 3 smartphone with 240-watt fast charging at Mobile World Congress. At the same event, the brand also revealed its support for even faster charging of 300 watts.
As if that weren’t enough, Realme has also been in the news for being one of the first brands to introduce its own version of Apple’s Dynamic Island feature.
And it seems that the brand doesn’t get tired of making headlines and today it’s news again. This time, for the global launch of a new smartphone. Everything indicates that the Realme C55 will be launched on March 7th and will be placed on store shelves on March 8th.
This information was advanced on the social network Twitter by the leaker Paras Guglani, who also advances some of the model’s specifications.
Expected specs on Realme C55
According to the well-known leaker, the new Realme C55 will arrive equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G88 processor and will be paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
Powering the terminal will be a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33-watt SuperVOCC fast charging.
On the rear panel, the new model will feature a dual camera setup with a primary sensor of 64 megapixels and a second sensor with two megapixels of resolution. The front camera will provide eight megapixels.
The model even runs the Realme UI 4.0 interface, based on the Android 13 operating system, and will also have a 6.52-inch LCD screen with a Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
