Neltharion, the Earth Warder, once fashioned this land as a secret training ground for his ultimate soldiers, the dracthyr. But since a terrible battle against the primalists, the island sank into oblivion for more than 20,000 years. With WoW Patch 10.0.7, all heroes of Azeroth are allowed to enter the Forbidden Island.

This tome comes from the personal library of Neltharion, who taunted the notes of the mysterious author of The Old Gods and the Order of Azeroth. Neltharion’s writings are exciting, no question! We’re talking about A Song of the Depths. The naga that roam the shores of the Forbidden Island will drop this tome as loot. The text is about the return of a queen and a harbinger who will fulfill an ancient prophecy. The author takes up the whispers of Il’gynoth from the Emerald Nightmare at many points in the book. He mentions, among other things, the circle of stars, flaming torches and a dark heart. We have a little sample for you.
Rise, rise! Our Queen calls to us from beyond the Umbral Veil. She has transcended the Circle of Stars and basks in her eternal grandeur!

The Harbinger speaks of a primal power that seeks the end of Order. Such rage can be bent to serve our ends.
A hunger lost to the ages will be reclaimed.
A dark heart left broken awaits the taking.
When these things come to pass, the Harbinger will fulfill the final prophecy and complete the awakening.
Only then shall our Queen return to reign over sea and sky and earth. We must make ready.
Rise, rise! Soon all that was hidden will be revealed.
While we don’t know exactly who wrote these somber praises and prophecies, we can speculate as to what they mean. Finally, the author of these writings utters some chilling prophecies that may give us clues as to what is to come in World of Warcraft.
