Leaks have revealed details about the Galaxy Watch 6. An article from SafetyKorea shared images of smartwatch batteries from a Korean certification body. According to this information, the Galaxy Watch 6 could be offered in 40 mm and 44 mm. The model numbers for these two versions would be SM-R93x and SM-R94x respectively.
A bigger battery for better battery life than the Galaxy Watch 5
According to the source, the smaller Galaxy Watch 6 would have a 300mAh battery, which would be a 5% increase over the 284mAh battery of the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5. Similarly, the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm is also said to have a bigger battery, going from 410 to 425 mAh.
Although the differences are minimal, they could possibly extend the real autonomy of Samsung connected watches if they integrate a SoC or a more efficient screen. Also, an optimization of the OS could help greatly improve the autonomy of the Galaxy Watch 6.

The Galaxy Watch 6 would have an all-new design with a curved screen
Outside of the battery boost, details on the Galaxy Watch 6s are pretty sparse. There are currently no rumors of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, the more expensive variant of the Galaxy Watch 6, but we should know in the months preceding its presentation.
In the meantime, famous leaker IceUniverse claims that Samsung will return to the curved glass design on the Galaxy Watch 6 (Pro), which has not been seen since the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The Pixel Watch with a round design and its convex screen gives a good idea of what the Galaxy Watch might look like, and an idea of what Samsung’s next watch will look like.
