Studio Eremite Games announced an update Modifiers Update to city building simulator Against the Storm. This patch is intended to improve the gameplay, and the main part of it were eight new modifiers for the world map.
About what effects should be added to the world map, the developers asked the players and received hundreds of suggestions in response. Of these, eight of the most promising were chosen, but some of the remaining proposals may well get into the game, for example, in the form of perks.
In addition, new interface features improve the map. Players can receive information about the number of available trade routes and alerts when automatic collection is enabled. A number of minor improvements to the controls and interface are also available.
The creators of Against the Storm also revised the balance of edicts, removing similar or too disadvantageous ones. A number of rarely chosen decrees have been strengthened, and the most trivial ones have been slightly weakened. The developers plan to return to the revision of decrees regularly.
Against the Storm is available on PC and is on sale at Steam and GOG. The game receives extremely positive reviews, it is recommended by 95% of buyers.
