03/03/2023 at 11:00 a.m. by Sebastian Glanzer – WoW: Dragonflight players will receive a unique Gaugler transmog set from the Darkmoon Faire via the trading post in March. However, after players earn the set, they are less than thrilled with it. Reason: Nasty “clipping”.
The trading post of WoW: Dragonflight brings us in March 2023 a special harlequin set. As usual, we have to get hold of 1,000 travel points via the travel diary, which we receive through various activities in the game. Once that’s done, the set is free. However, some players who have already earned Ensemble: Bells of the Darkmoon Harlequin are unhappy after previewing the unique transmog set.
Because the Harlequin items have some unpleasant “clipping” errors. For example, parts of the set don’t line up properly with the character’s neck or head, which in the worst case can result in certain body parts of the character appearing transparent. The resentment about the clipping error is spreading in the WoW forums.
Disappointed with clipping errors in the new trading post set

If you look at your character with the Harlequin mask on, you will probably notice that there is quite a lot of space where your face should actually be. Actually, the mask should end at the neck and not offer a view of the character’s face at all.

Even if it doesn’t look that bad for some races, there is an ugly gap in the neck of the helmet.

With some races like tauren or worgen this can look particularly strange. Because of her rather elongated face or her snout, you can see that her face is completely missing in the side view, even without zooming in.
Clipping errors are common in WoW (buy now) because not every piece of gear can be perfectly tailored to every race. As a rule, the developers are guided by how an item looks on a person. Especially with masks, it happens that ears or muzzles from other peoples lead to display errors.
