In 2021, the Xbox team released a limited-edition Forza Horizon 5 controller that featured vibrant colors but was functionally the same as a standard controller. In 2023, the popular racing game will receive a second branded gamepad – from Thrustmaster, a controller created in collaboration with Xbox.
Thrustmaster’s ESWAP XR PRO CONTROLLER is inspired by the Forza Horizon 5 design and comes with a host of exciting features. The main feature of the controller is the RACING WHEEL MODULE, which can be installed instead of a D-pad or a stick. The developers of the gamepad promise that with it the players will experience a “new level of immersion” in virtual driving.
In addition, the gamepad is equipped with mechanical buttons that work 64% faster than standard membrane buttons. Also, the controller itself can be fully customized in the appropriate Thrustmaster app.
Thrustmaster’s ESWAP XR PRO CONTROLLER is sold for $199 and is wired to Xbox only.
