In an event held in São Paulo this Tuesday (7), Realme announced the launch of Realme 10 Pro+ in the country, with a suggested price of R$ 3,999. The brand also presented the special edition of Realme 10 Pro in partnership with Coca-Cola, that will not be sold here.
One of the great differentials of the new smartphone is in the design, in addition to the partnership with Coca-Cola. From this, the Realme 10 Pro gains, on the back, the logo of the famous brand of soft drinks and the colors red and black. The customization also makes the rim of the cameras gain a reddish hue.
In addition to a different look, the “Cola Phone” box and accessories follow the same theme, including a special doll with the Realme mascot in the same shade as the soda and stickers. The box of the Pro+ edition, on the other hand, carries the brand’s traditional yellow and black colors. the regular model will be sold in black (with a more matte characteristic) and silver (with mirrored and reflective details).
The special edition of Realme’s cell phone had a limited quantity produced and will not be sold in Brazil.
Still in the product box, Realme includes items such as the SIM card ejector that mimics a lid, a 67W charger, USB-C cable and a protective cover — finally, there is also a plaque with the device’s manufacturing number. On the 10 Pro+, there are accessories like the cable, charger, case and SIM ejector.
The Coca-Cola theme also extends to the Realme 10 Pro special edition software. Users find an interface with soda-inspired elements and a reddish hue, including custom icons.
With limited production, the customized smartphone had only 6 thousand units produced and also launched in countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.
Mobile with strong hardware
With a glass body, the Realme 10 Pro + has a look with rounded corners and a module with three camera sensors on the back, but divided into two circles. On the front, there is a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen (2412 x 1080p) with a refresh rate of 120Hz and which has slightly curved corners.
According to Marcelo Sato, sales manager at Realme Brasil, the company invested around US$15 million in development on the smartphone screen. The idea is to bring a premium display to the intermediate segment, which was a request from the customers themselves, says the executive.
Realme claims to have developed a technology that prevents accidental touches due to the curved screen on the Realme 10 Pro+.
The Realme 10 Pro+ still has the chipset Dimensity 920 5G and options with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It features Android 13 and the Realme UI 4.0 interface, in addition to a 5,000 mAh battery — with 1,600 cycles guaranteed by the brand.
In Brazil, the brand launches the model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and highlights the Dynamic RAM tool, which adds up to another 12 GB of virtual memory.
In the cameras, there is a main sensor of 108 MP and two secondary ones with 8 MP (ultra-wide) and 2 MP (macro) with special features for night and urban photography. On the front, in a small hole in the upper area of the screen, there is a 16 MP sensor.
Sales of Realme 10 Pro+ in Brazil will start in early April, but still no set date. Despite the R$ 4 thousand price, Realme promises a launch discount for consumers.
