But it seems that, at least in one attribute, Samsung will not surprise users, maintaining the same size of 6.2 inches on the exterior screen of the new Galaxy Z Fold 5.

The Galaxy Z Fold has always been Samsung’s most innovative and desirable foldable. The fifth generation of the terminal is expected to arrive in August and expectations are high, especially after brands like Honor have presented models that represent strong competition.
Now it has been revealed that the next iteration of the foldable will feature the exact same 6.2-inch size as the previous model. The information arrives through the leaker Ice Universe, who shows his disappointment, as many of his followers expressed it in response to this publication made on the social network Twitter.
The well-known leaker does not share the source of this information, however, taking into account the history of Ice Universe, this feature may be confirmed in the future.
One of the great new features of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be the hinge mechanism
According to all the rumors released so far, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will inherit several specifications from the previous model. But let’s start with what it will bring again. Several sources say that one of the big news will be a new hinge mechanism.
This mechanism will be shaped like a drop of water and will allow the two sides of the smartphone to be flat when the terminal is closed, as well as making the Fold 5 more elegant (thinner) compared to the previous model.
The other novelty will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that will power the new generation of the South Korean giant’s top foldable.
Now let’s go to the similarities. Rumors advance that the new Galaxy Z fold 5 will maintain the same rear camera configuration as the Fold 4; that is, a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultra wide angle of 12 megapixels and even a telephoto sensor with 10 megapixels of resolution.
Also the storage configurations will be the same, so we will have options of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of capacity.
For now, this is the information available, but we are still some distance from the official reveal of the equipment, so it is possible that in the meantime more and better news will emerge.
