A 1 TB SSD for the Playstation 5 might be the best choice for many. Yes, you can also buy a 500GB PS5 SSD. But it is a mystery to us how to do this. PS5 SSD with 2 TB: the best offers up to 180 euros

With a PS5 SSD with 2 TB, even if you buy a lot of games, you shouldn’t be forced to delete games like Hogwarts Legacy, FIFA 23 or Forspoken to free up storage space. It’s worth being quick if you’re interested, because prices and availability can change at any time.

Equip the PS5 SSD with a heat sink

To be on the safe side, you should equip your 1 TB or 2 TB PS5 SSD with a heat sink, a so-called heat sink. Most of the models mentioned above come with a pre-installed heatsink, but it is significantly more expensive than if you buy the heatsink for 10-12 euros extra and do the installation yourself. And this is really easy. With the Elutang heatsink, for example, you can easily equip an M.2 SSD by laying several layers of silicone thermal pads on top of each other and placing the enclosed heatsink on top. This ensures that the pads stay in place.
