Some time after beta testing, the developers at Red Barrels broke the silence regarding the release date of the creepy co-op horror The Outlast Trials. From the official press release, it became known that players will be able to start passing frightening tests this spring, on May 18th. The project will be released in early access for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
“We’ve received so many applications for the Closed Beta that we look forward to welcoming even more players to The Outlast Trials when it goes into Early Access on May 18th.” – said representatives of the Studio Red Barrels.
In addition, the authors boasted of statistics from the previous test, which took place during the Halloween celebrations. About one million applications were submitted for the CBT, and those who got on it left a lot of useful feedback.

all the time, the characters died 225,363 times, the players were seriously injured 656,180 times, more than 352 million seconds spent in night vision mode, which is equal to 11 years, the active skill of the characters was used 1.841.161 times, in total, the players spent 35 years of total time in The Outlast Trials.

The Outlast Trials is a co-op horror game set during the Cold War. Players take on the role of test subjects kidnapped by the dark corporation Murkoff. Users are required to overcome their fears alone or as a team in a series of physical and mental challenges.
