The men’s biathlon team, having shown the best shooting, took 5th place in the relay at the World Cup in Östersund.
The result was appreciated by Artem Prima.
“If you take the whole relay as a whole, then I am pleased with the result, because the race was very competitive, in the sense that the results are quite tight. At the first stages, 8-10 teams ran in 40-50 seconds. It’s very tight. Already at the last stage, big gaps went: who drove into the circle, and who went stronger. But in general, it was a very good relay race. The guys are all great. Both the service team and the coaches did a good job. Today there were no problems, the skis worked well. As for myself, I am more or less satisfied with my stage.
“I have already said that I am not in optimal shape right now. There are some health issues. There are reasons for this, and I know them. Coach and doctor in the know. But we decided to still run this season as it is. And then understand, be treated and everything else. So now I run as much as I can. Of course, I’m not happy with my course, because I can’t perform at full strength.”
“I tried to keep the maximum that I can today,” Prima said.
