Valheim’s next update, Hildir’s Quest, is on track for the next big biome update for a Norse-themed survival game, and one of the lead developers is showing off the perfect tool for a Viking mod game. The update also includes difficulty tweaks and improved Valheim chest sorting tools, as well as a handy add-on that lets you try out new skins on the fly.
Valheim senior developer Jonathan Smores shared a look at Valheim’s new hair salon on Twitter, writing, “Perfect to try out all that hair coming with the Valheim Hildir’s Quest update.” One of the other additions to Hildir’s Quest are helmets, which will still show off your hair instead of hiding it.
This is definitely a welcome addition that fits in a bit better with the lore than just going to the Change Character menu.
