Microsoft has officially announced that it will not host the once-traditional showroom conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year. Instead, it will support the organizers in a different way – it will become part of the digital show on June 11th.

An Xbox spokesperson told IGN that instead of the conference, the corporation will host its own digital Xbox Games Showcase on June 11. It will take place as part of E3 Digital, a digital program available to users from all over the world.
However, questions to Microsoft still remain. For example, it is not clear whether the Xbox stands will be present at E3 2023, or whether the corporation will only broadcast the show. Edition IGN at the time of writing this note has not received an answer to this question. In addition, the involvement of other major publishers remains unclear. The organizers of E3 2023 said that they will have stands from them, but did not specify the list of companies.
Earlier, IGN reported that the Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo will not formally be part of E3 2023. The latter has already officially announced this. But Microsoft mentioned in January that it would return to Los Angeles this summer – this is where the E3 exhibition takes place.
