Promoter Eddie Hearn does not believe that the fight for the absolute heavyweight championship between WBC belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) will take place on April 29.
“I will express my opinion and if I am wrong, then everyone can relate to this as they want. No, I don’t think the fight will take place on April 29th, but I hope it does. Usyk played on a bluff and now it’s up to Tyson. Still, I don’t believe he will have a six-week training camp for such a fight, but who knows,” Hearn said.
Earlier, Fury from the training room turned to Usyk and promised that in six weeks the Ukrainian champion would be left in the past.
