Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp commented on the 0-1 loss to Bournemouth in the 27th round of the Premier League:
“I am extremely disappointed. The match was almost the exact opposite of what we wanted to implement. I think we played for 95 minutes the way Bournemouth wanted to play. We only had a few minutes and a few moments to do what we wanted.
In the first half, I think our two or three best moments were similar: to find a half-space. We scored a goal, which was not counted due to offside. We had other good moments after set pieces that we didn’t use. If we take into account only home matches, then we are in the TOP-4, if away matches, we are not even in European competitions.”
