In the second season of “Wednesday” viewers will see more horror and less romance. Jenna Ortega announced this on The Jimmy Fallon Show.
“We’ve only just started gathering the writers’ room and discussing [сюжет]. Everyone is saying we need to step up the focus on horror a bit, get her out of the romance and give Wednesday a chance to be herself and fight crime.” Jenna Ortega.
According to the actress, work on new episodes is at an early stage. So far, the second season does not have a completed script. The premiere of the new part of the show will take place no earlier than 2024.
Ortega’s last film was Scream 6, which was released on March 8. In it, the actress played Tara Carpenter, one of the main characters of the thriller. The film currently has a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes among critics and 93% among viewers.
