Aroged: Turn-based strategic shooter Lemnis Gate servers will close on July 11

Publisher Frontier Foundry, together with the developers from Ratloop Games, have decided to close their turn-based shooter Lemnis Gate, since the release of which has passed less than two years. Information about the termination of further support for the project was presented in a joint statement by the two companies.

In their message, the developers claim that Lemnis Gate was an ambitious project that they worked closely with publisher Frontier Foundry on. The decision to stop supporting the game is a priori a sad event, but the team does not intend to despair, so they will soon do something else.

The course of further events is easy to predict, the developers from Ratloop Games can only decide on the key dates, which they did. So, already on April 11, Lemnis Gate will be removed from sale on all platforms, and on July 11, all game servers will be turned off. After that, console owners will have access to local multiplayer and training modes. And on a PC, the ability to spend time playing a shooter will disappear altogether.

Lemnis Gate is considered one of the first projects of Frontier Foundry, Frontier’s subsidiary for publishing third-party games. The authors called their brainchild “a revolutionary turn-based strategic shooter”, its action takes place in a time loop. It was released in September 2021, but failed to gain popularity among fans of the genre. The peak online PC version exceeds thousands of people, which is negligible.
