Alfa Romeo gave the Giulia and Stelvio a facelift in October 2022. The flagship models for the brand attract a lot of attention in Italy. Wishing the same for other markets, Alfa Romeo management stated that these new models are completely user-oriented. Make-up Giulia and Stelvio went on sale in Turkey at the end of 5 months after the promotion.
What did Giulia and Stelvio with make-up bring us from Italy?
Continuing its life under the roof of Fiat, the brand entered under the umbrella of Stellantis in 2021. The first make-up process of the flagships of the brand in this partnership is mostly in line with the criticisms of its previous models. Alfa Romeo management also said something to support this in the introduction. The brand prioritized technology in this make-up process.
The facelifted Giulia and Stelvio got LED headlights that the previous generation lacked. It now has LED matrix headlights and an all-digital instrument cluster like the Tonale. In addition, these new headlights catch the best angle for you according to the road and your speed. The arrival of the digital instrument cluster represents the brand’s first departure from the old dial design.
The 1000 hp Alfa Romeo is coming!
Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato has announced that the Giulia will continue as a fully electric car in 2025.
A brand new 8-inch infotainment system has also been added to the interior outside of the instrument cluster. Thanks to this screen, you can control the vehicle’s DNA driving modes. In addition, Alfa Romeo will be able to send updates to its vehicles continuously thanks to this multimedia system. Both models have aerodynamic improvements.
When we come under the hood, we will no longer see diesel engines in the facelifted Giulia and Stelvio. The reason for this is that the brand bids farewell to diesel engines for these models. The facelift versions will come with a turbo petrol engine producing only 280 HP and an 8-speed automatic transmission. As for the lower and upper structure of the transmission we are talking about, there is no change compared to the previous generation.
