Lightyear Frontier, the ‘No Man’s Sky peasant’ of Frame Break, will not be released this spring on PC, Xbox and Game Pass: the announcement is made by the independent developers themselves with a message in which they say they regret and provide clarifications.
Among the reasons given by the authors of Lightyear Frontier there is obviously the interest, on the part of Frame Break, not to make the mistake of launching an Early Access version that does not reflect the quality, richness of content and graphic goodness of the final title.
For this, the developers have decided to postpone indefinitely the publication of the Early Access version of Lightyear Frontier, originally scheduled for spring of this year on PC, Xbox consoles and in the Game Pass catalog.
To those who are only approaching this title now, we remind you that Lightyear Frontier is a space sandbox that echoes the atmosphere of No Man’s Sky to allow us to explore and colonize an alien planet: players must prepare a base camp in anticipation of the arrival of the first settlers from Earth and, to do so, they will have sentient exoskeletons and the building and terraforming capabilities of the AI of the own spaceship.
