MERING • For the Mega Drive Mini 2, developer studio M2 produced, among other things, new ports of Space Harrier, Space Harrier II and Fantasy Zone. Their new soundtracks fill the two discs of this CD album. For the music too Space Harrier and Fantasy Zone Hiroshi Kawaguchi is responsible. But Yu Suzuki also contributed something here. Meanwhile, Tokuhiko Uwabo has closed the soundtrack Space Harrier II written, the programming aspect was taken care of by Hideki Konishi. In addition to the complete soundtracks of the games, there are three chic bonus tracks: An arrangement for “Space Harrier” is available in three versions – twice with vocals by Sega legend Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Daytona USA) and once as a karaoke version. As a double album, also released by Wave Master, costs Multiverse Sound World Slightly more: 3,520 yen, approx. 25 euros, are due in the Japanese Amazon shop, and there is also some shipping involved here. Compared to “Celebration Album this double CD is more for the inveterate Sega community, but it’s also a lot of fun for them.
