Wait response from GSC Game World did not take long. According to representatives of the studio, the leak occurred due to the hacking of the account of one of the employees. They stated that the challenge encourages them to work even harder and asked fans to refrain from viewing and distributing the content as it is outdated and does not reflect the current state of the project.
After that, the public shared new screenshots and art, where you can see both already known and recycled rats that were planned for the first game of the series, as well as the first woman in the STALKER universe named Agatha, the concept of the Rostock plant, a screenshot of the Graveyard of Technology and one from cutscenes. On March 15, they promise to publish another 10 GB of data.
