30-year-old French biathlete Anais Chevalier-Boucher announced her retirement after the World Cup in Holmenkollen, Norway.
“Race in Oslo will be the last for me. It’s time to hang up the rifle. I am glad that I had the chance to succeed and stay true to my values throughout my career.
I am proud that I continued to fight in difficult moments, made a bold choice and stood my ground. Another life awaits me, I can’t wait to see what happens next. Thank you for everything,” wrote Chevalier-Boucher.
Recall that Marte Olsby Røiseland also announced her retirement earlier.
