The new additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium cannot be downloaded immediately. Instead, subscribers will have to wait until next week. The games mentioned will be activated on the morning of March 21, 2023. After that, they can be used without restriction until they are eventually removed from the library.
April’s PS Plus dates are also predictable, as Sony tends to stick to a familiar pattern that is sometimes circumvented, as demonstrated by the announcement of the latest Essential games during a State of Play edition. Should things stick to the usual schedule this time, the Essential games will be announced on March 29, 2023 and unlock on April 4, 2023. For PS Plus Extra and Premium, April 12 and April 18, 2023 are considered presumptive dates.
In case you missed the announcement, just a little hint: Sony will PlayStation Plus Collection in May, as the company recently announced. Launched in 2020, the collection is made up of 19 PS4 games that PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy at no additional cost.
