After making a comeback with a trailer entirely dedicated to Jin Kazama, Bandai Namco has recently revealed that two iconic characters will make their welcome return to Tekken 8. Specifically we are talking about Paul Phoenix e Marshall Law, two of the most loved fighters in this historic fighting game. In the released trailers we see the two fighters show off their skills and their muscles.
As per tradition Paul will rely on slow but very powerful attacks which, if successful, will cause a lot of damage to the opponent. In the trailer dedicated to Paul we see the legendary judoka take it out on an unfortunate Marshall Lee by chaining powerful punches and kicks, and also resorting to some grappling and throwing moves if necessary. Fighting aside, we can see how in Tekken 8 Paul has a completely different look than in the past. Having abandoned the typical bizarre hairstyles of the previous chapters, it seems that Paul’s new passion is motorcycles and for this reason he shows up in the ring showing off a biker look complete with a leather jacket and chains.
Parked Paul’s roaring motorcycle it’s time to move on Marshall Law. In this case the character’s repertoire of moves seems to have been expanded. As can be seen from the trailer dedicated to him, the character now relies on nunchucks to fight and deliver some powerful blows. Certainly there are some moves with a cinematic flavor such as a jump with feet together on the chest of an unfortunate Paul. Unlike Paul, Marshall Lee comes with an appearance in line with the past, with the typical appearance that recalls that of Bruce Lee.
