Samsung has officially presented two new smartphones: The Samsung Galaxy A54 and Samsung Galaxy A34.
It is true that the Samsung Galaxy devices already appeared on the MediaMarkt website and rumors about the internal components have been circulating for some time. Today we finally get a definite answer when it comes to the specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G
For the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, that means a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by AMOLED technology. In the camera department, the A54 can boast a 32MP selfie camera. You can capture the outside world with the 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide camera or the 5 MP macro camera. The device will have a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and support for 25-watt fast charging. The A54 gets its computing power from the Exynos 1380, an 8-core APU.
The A54 can be found in two versions. Both have 8 GB of RAM. The only difference is the storage size: with one version you get 128 GB for €489, while the other version comes with 256 GB and costs €539. You can also choose from a black, silver, green or purple version.
Galaxy A 34 5G
The specs are about the same with the Galaxy A34 5G. The screen here is slightly larger at 6.6 inches. However, it remains of the same FHD + quality, the refresh rate remains the same and this screen also uses amoled technology. To take selfies, you can use the 13 MP front camera of the A34. On the outside you then have an 8 MP Ultra-wide camera, a main camera of 48 MP and a macro camera of 5 MP. The MediaTek Dimensity 1080, an 8-core APU, provides the computing power. Just like the A54, the A34 has support for 25W fast charging and the device comes with a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.
The A34 5G is available in two variants. One with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage ($389) or in a configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage ($459). You can expand the storage with a microSD card. The A34 also comes in several colors: black, silver, purple and green.
Both devices come with Android 13 installed and One UI 5.1.
