Wonderful for some, disastrous for others: Taika Waititi He did not leave anyone indifferent with his change of tone in Thor: Ragnarok. Chris Hemsworth’s third God of Thunder movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was one of the highlights of Phase 3.
The Asgardian imaginary was expanded with new characters that joined Thor y Loki in the film so Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston wouldn’t feel lonely.
In addition to the pertinent family reunion with odin (Anthony Hopkins), Thor: Ragnarok introduces a HelaGoddess of Death, the sister of Thor and Loki played by Cate Blanchett.
Hela was the main villain of the movie and she needed to show that she had such tremendous power that she could challenge the God of Thunder and the God of Deceit together. To do this, Hela tore the Mjolnirthe legendary weapon of Thor, with only one hand.
Chris Hemsworth still has it in for Cate Blanchett
It’s been almost six years since Thor: Ragnarok hit theaters around the world, but Chris Hemsworth hasn’t forgotten what Cate Blanchett did to his prized hammer.
The actor has shared a photo of his MCU co-star during a visit to Disneyland, where Blanchett posed with animators dressed as Thor and Loki at the theme park.

“What a lovely reunion…although I’m still mad about Mjölnir,” the actor comments in his tweet.
Thor recovered the enchanted hammer in Thor: Love and Thunder, though he was now in possession of the Breakthrough. The presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Cate Blanchett’s role as Hela was short-lived, for now, but she played a tremendous role in the evolution of the Asgardian branch of the MCU.
Things didn’t turn out so bad for Chris Hemsworth: now he has two weapons to share with his little new partner.
