The British team Splash Damage announced the works on Project Astrida new game currently in development that also involves some famous streamers like Mike in its creation “Shroud” Grzesiek and Chris “Sacriel” Ball.
All we know at the moment, beyond the involvement of the characters in question, is that the game should be a survival tripla A open worldwith streamers appearing to have been part of the planning of the project from the beginning.
The creative director of Project Astrid is Lance Winter, who presented the title in the video above, in the company of Shroud and Sacriel.
“They bring a unique and innovative perspective,” Winter says in the video, of the two’s involvement streamer. “Not only that, but they also allow us to have a clearer view of what fans and content creators want in their gaming experiences. Nobody knows this genre better than they do.”
Splash Damage specializes above all in the field of shooters, especially multiplayer ones, such as Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. We know that the team is also working on Transformers Reactivate, while it was previously revealed that they were working on an original sci-fi game, after Gears Tactics, and it could possibly be Project Astrid.
