If you can brag about people bookmarking your posts, Twitter’s new tool might kick your ego. Social network added a bookmark counter in the iOS app – it, like the tools that count the number of likes, retweets and quotes, will show how many people have saved your tweet.
Company notesthat the bookmarks section is still private. Users can see if their tweets are popular, but they won’t know who saved the post.
We love Bookmarks for saving Tweets to revisit later. Starting today on iOS, you’ll now see the total number of times a Tweet has been bookmarked on Tweet details.

The counter will be needed primarily by blogger authors or company accounts – the tool will help you find out whether the ad was effective or how useful tweets are for subscribers.
Earlier, the social network updated the policy on content with threats of violence. Now the very “wishes of evil”, that is, death, illness, tragic accidents, or other physically harmful consequences, are forbidden; as well as threatening “civilian homes, shelters or infrastructure”, with exceptions related to comments about video games or sports events, as well as satirical statements or artistic quotations – when “the context is an expression of a point of view, not a call to violence.”
Decentralized alternative to Twitter. Jack Dorsey’s Bluesky app is now available on the App Store (by invitation only for now)
