Thunderful, Coatsink and Noname Studios’ exciting 2D adventure platform game Worldless has been unveiled at the MIX Direct Spring 2023 Showcase, launching on PC and Xbox later this year.
The trailer showcases the stylish combat offered by Worldless’ mix of turn-based and action-packed combat, as well as the beauty that the mysterious minimalist world offers you to explore.
Worldless takes place in a world where polar opposite realities merge into one common spark. Players will venture into an abstract setting full of entities with opposing goals. One half is fixated on the virtues of its nature, the other seeks to exchange it for its own death. The polarities attract, resulting in never-ending conflict, and the result is a traumatic Absorption process that changes their very nature.
In Worldless, you’ll learn the nuances of a streamlined combat system as you hone your timing and refine your strategies. Consume enemies to learn new abilities in an ever-expanding skill tree, unlock new ways to explore, and add depth to combat encounters. You will explore intricate areas filled with secrets, using agility and fluidity to uncover them, and engage ferocious creatures in fast-paced turn-based combat.
